Marriage doesn’t have to be grey. It can be vibrant with color.
Unfortunately, many marriages fall victim to monotony as things like mortgage payments and folding laundry take precedents over fun.
But marriage doesn’t have to be dull. In fact, your marriage should be one of the most thrilling adventures of your life.
Do you agree?
If I am being honest, the concept of falling “more and more in love” seemed to be a romantic idea rather than reality. It seems that as time goes on, couples tend to get more bitter and argue more; not laugh have more fun. This had me thinking…why is it this way? Where does the fun go?
Reflecting on life and marriage, I realize that life can’t always be fun like it was when I was young. You have to grow up and be responsible so you can’t just “have fun.”
You can’t “have fun,” you have to “make fun.” See the difference?
Having fun with your spouse isn’t somethings that is going to happen unless you make it happen. It takes work and it takes being intentional. Often times it takes doing things outside of the normal routine.
